Day 7
14/03/08 Brick night yesterday night! We managed to record 2 songs... so now we have 3 of 6 drum tracks. So maybe we'll had all the drum tracks for the end of March,
or April.
This time I only took only a few useless pictures, so I won't post them, if Luca has better photos I'll past them hear later. What about the video? It's useless too so you'll have to wait the next one!
Day 6
05/03/08 I forgot the external HD at home so Brick could work only on Eterea and Reminiscence. He discovered that the backing track (bass and guitar) of the second song was out of time so he decided to record Eterea. After a few hours of recording Brick finally was satisfied with one take (Brick is really pernickety when it comes to record a track and every little problem with the sound or the timing leads him to yell the hell out of his mouth...). Time to say that Eterea drum track is done! Are you waiting for the video blog? Ok, Right click me and save as...
Day 5
01/03/08 We recorded the last backing track, so now the work will focus in recording the drums that Brick tweaked a little more. We changed 3 of the 10 microphone for the drum set to have a different sound from some of the pieces.
Izzio and Brick were talking seriously about to film a video on the well known Bancodorio (near Grado) and this make me think about the sanity of the band :-) anyway who can tell, if we will finish the recording work before this summer maybe a video
should be a great add for our album.

Day 4
22/02/08 Finally we discover that Brick is SHY! He dislike the camcorders (as you can see in this video [right click and save as] and prefers to record his tracks alone. So we change the recording method according to the new Brick's personality. A first take for bass,
guitar and drums, then Brick alone with those instruments in the headphones but no one (except me hidden by the fridge) else in the room... in fact we recorded a good take (ok, Brick is more a critic than a drum player, and he finds errors that no human can hear) of "Eterea" when the other were gone.
Another thing to notice is Izzio's strange behaviour at the end of the day (click on the previows link for the video if you already didn't) ... maybe it's due to the full moon that was shining in the sky yesterday night...
Day 3
20/02/08 We decided to tweak a little more the drum set due to some vibrations and tuned the toms. It wasn't a good day for recording though and swears and blasphemies came out from Brick's heart more then ever...
We tried to record a third song but there was no way to achieve any good result this time... so this night we will be there again to try to record Eterea and Fog (I still have missed the right name for this last one, ask Izzio about it), I hope this will be the right night to
record at least one of those song, but I'm realizing that these recordings are far more difficult than I have expected. Lets hope to have this album out in these summer...

Day 2
12/02/08 After the tracking of the first day we recorded the first take for the song "Eterea", now we have to decide if to keep it or not... is it good enough? Brick will decide. We didn't record the bass, cos we decide to record it in a different moment like guitar and the other instruments. Now, as you can see from this video (right click and save as),
we have a new photoreporter who risk her own life to take the best shots for our band! Thanx Sara!
Day 1
09/02/08 We started recording last night, or better, we placed the microphnes for the drums and chose the best way to start recordings; so we met together in our reharseal room where we will record drums (then maybe percussion too) and started working... well, next time we will record the drum track for the first song. See you soon! Just a note: we do not support CoKka Kola even if in this first video you can see many times some cans of the horrible beverage. Caffeine is needed during recording session, you can see it from the last scene of the little video (right click and save as) here.
