Every guitar is sampled note by note on two layers. The high volumes layer scheme is this: E F F# G G# 1st string A A# B C C# 2nd string D D# E F F# 3rd string G G# A A# 4th string B C C# D D# 5th string E F F# G G# A A# B C C# D D# E 6th string The low volume layer scheme is this: E F F# G G# A 1st string A# B C C# D 2nd string D# E F F# G 3rd string G# A A# B 4th string C C# D D# E 5th string F F# G G# A A# B C C# D D# E 6th string For the Shaller and the Classical guitar I used a monophonic sampling, a stereo for the Marshall chorus guitar. The sample rate is 48 kHz for the whole collection but 44100 Hz for the Shaller samples. The mic used to record the Classical guitar is a B1 Behringer, the other were recorded in direct line from an output of the ampli to the input of the Quattro usb audio interface (M-Audio) with DP4 and then 4.5 The mp3 are in 192 Kb/s and they are the sound you can hear from the program without using effects, master effects or equalization. The Mandolin scheme is this: G G# A A# B C C# 1st strings D D# E F F# G G# 2nd strings A A# B C C# D D# 3rd strings E F F# G G# A A# B C 4th strings For the mandolin (a Mandolino Napoletano Year 1952) I use a B1 Behringer as microphones, a MOTU Traveler as Audio interface and Digital Performer 4.61 as audio sequencer. The sample rate is 48 kHz. for more info contact me at info@dedicatedtotriton.net
